Why is Nutrient Status so important?
Scientific studies show that the majority of Americans are deficient in many essential nutrients. And what is more overwhelming, is that these  nutrient deficiencies are associated with disease processes and the overall condition of one’s health. Vitamin, mineral and antioxidant deficiencies have been shown to suppress immune function and contribute to chronic degenerative processes such as arthritis, cancer, Alzheimer’s, cardiovascular disease and diabetes. This body of research has been reaffirmed by the Journal of the American Medical Association. (June 19, 2002-Vol 287, No. 23). Deficiencies occur because of poor diet, nutrient depleting  lifestyle factors and malabsorption.  Nutrients are the raw materials the cells needs to perform their functions.  Long term optimal health and the prevention of disease depends on ensuring cells have the nutrients they need. So the bottom line is this…if your cells are not well  nourished you cannot sustain health.
How do I know which nutrient deficiencies I have?
We offer sophisticated lab tests to determine deficiencies.   In addition, our medical director, who has been working in integrative medicine for many years, understands the link between symptoms and nutrient deficiencies very well and by examining your medical history and your assessment results will know what deficiency are holding you back from achieving radiant health.
Are IV infusions safe?
Yes. All our IV nutrient infusions are formulated with the highest quality nutrients ( vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants)by our medical director who has over 20 years of clinical experience.  All of our nutrients are natural to the body and are sourced from FDA approved facilities.
Before receiving an IV infusion we will review your medical history to ensure you are eligible to receive an infusion.  It should be noted that all medical therapies carry a risk, therefore it is important for our clients to understand the risks, benefits and alternatives and to seek treatments only from certified medical personnel.
Does It Hurt?
Most people barely feel the IV placement, and many don’t feel it at all. Our paramedic or specialized nurse may pretreat the skin with a numbing agent to minimize discomfort.
Who administers the infusions?
Our paramedics or nurse.
Are IV nutrient infusions covered by my health insurance?
Our treatments are not covered by insurance at this time.
Do I need to make an appointment?
Yes, we do encourage you to make an appointment.  However,  we do accommodate walk-ins.
How quickly will I feel the effects of the nutrient infusion?
Everyone is different. As a general rule, the more deficient and unbalanced your system is, the greater and more immediate an effect you will feel.
How long do the beneficial effects last?
Again, this will vary on the individual and the physical health status. The noticeable effects typically last 2-4 days; however, the underlying clinical benefits continue beyond that.
Many conditions require an intense period of treatment (1-2 months) during which you may need several treatments per month if necessary.
Preventative and anti-aging treatments are typically recommended 2-4 times a month. Many of our clients with cancer or Lyme receive IV’s on a weekly regime.
Which of your IV’s are best for me?
You will complete an Individual Nutrient Needs assessment along with your medical history that will help our medical staff select the IV infusion that is right for you.  We can also customize an IV nutrient infusion to meet your specific nutrient requirements.
